In this video we continue to make the NBS GMC Stepside sierra look better. In the last video we power washed the carpet to get all the old dirt out. While that did get a lot of the stains out I wasn't happy. In this video I show you how to dye your carpet. Sometimes dying or painting carpet is required because over time it fades. This will help cover the fading and any stains they may not come out with extracting or washing. Using the original color the factory did helps you match the color of the carpet or interior panels. In this case the color is sem 17223. It is hard to find but is a perfect match for 2003 to 2007 Classic Silverado or Sierra with Dark Pewter interior. If you are needing to dye your silverado or sierra carpet this is the process I use. It takes some time and uses very light coats. I like to move the fibers around after each coat and work in the opposite direction. If your carpet is like mine and isn't worn out, this almost makes it look new again. Once it dried we put the freshly dyed carpet back in the GMC Sierra Stepside and continued cleaning other panels. I also took this time to hook up an amplifier and subwoofer. I have had this kicker l7t setting on the shelf for a while. I will say it sounds great in a regular cab truck with a few hours of break in on it.
