When I asked my friends about Eric Nam, I had an immediate barrage of “omg he’s so hot, he’s so cool, he’s so talented”. While he certainly is all of these things, the Eric Nam I met was also someone in dire need of a break. The conversation we have here is fascinating. It’s rare to witness a mega star allow himself to be this vulnerable and talk from his heart about mental health, the pressure and price of fame and questioning our dreams before simply chasing them. It is my hope that this interview leads Eric to where he needs to be and that this conversation reaches the ones who need to hear it.
