We all make mistakes - this is a fact of life that the Prophet ﷺ taught us when he said that "every child of Adam is a sinner, and the best of those who sin are those who repent."

Allah's name Al Haleem indicates His perfect and incredible forbearance and patience in dealing with all of our shortcomings, all of our mistakes and sins. He so patiently lets us stumble and make mistakes without holding us to task. Not only that, He patiently waits for us to ask for His forgiveness after we neglect tawbah for so long. And then He forgives us not begrudgingly, not because He has to but because He wants to.
