Welcome to my latest video exploring our story of rebuilding and renovating this old log house we bought almost two years ago.

our wreck of a house is located in the calm of Finnish countryside, where the backdrop on our plot is a field of dandelions. Currently we live in a rental apartment in the neighboring village, where we get to enjoy sunsets by the lake just a few minutes walk from our home.

The beauty we're surrounded with right now in the middle of Finnish summer is incredible!

While we have been working on the house, the spring turned into a summer without me even noticing, and now all of a sudden we are even past the Summer solstice. I am so sad I had to skip making my Finnish Midsummer Spell video this year which has always been my favorite to make, but I just didn't have the time for it in the middle of this all. But I already have an idea for what spell I want to do for the next year's video and I can't wait to get to create some magic again!

By the next video I'm hoping I have some incredible progress to show to you on the house, and that is giving me butterflies already cause it's so hard to believe that it's finally happening! This stress-filled but masochistically rewarding journey of saving this house has been life changing, and there's no end in sight any time soon, so there's gonna be many videos to come.

Thank you for taking the time to pop up in here! I'm doing these videos out of pure joy of storytelling, so I am super happy if I can share any of the joy I feel with you. Be it the joy you feel of finding this relatable, or the joy you feel for not having to go through any of this shit yourself, a shared joy accumulates. :D
