The Self-Adapting Attachment Mechanism (SAAM, patent pending) automatically adjusts the footprint and the support structure to the diameter of an attached arm (an arm dummy is used in the video). This feature allows to consistently align users with different arm sizes to the robot. As no customized cushioning, no manual adaption, and no tools are required, the attachment is highly time-efficient.
