As flu season is around the corner (at least where I live), I thought it would be helpful to share a soup recipe that I always make when I'm sick. This soup has many herbs which can boost the immune system and soothe a sore throat. The soup is also not too heavy on the stomach.
This recipe is really easy to make. Perfect if you have to take care of yourself or have a partner that is not too great in the kitchen. Not all herbs are required for the soup. So you can skip the herbs you don't have or substitute them. Personally, I always have dried bay leaves, allspice, and onions in my pantry. So those will always go in my soup.
