I showed you a few years ago how to make enchilada sauce using powdered Chile, and to be honest, it’s such a time saver when your weekly menu involves Mexican cuisine recipes. I’ll link a recipe below to show you how to make chili powder that works for enchiladas, amongst other delicious Mexican food recipes. This is the best Quick enchilada sauce recipe, especially for those of us who are limited on time but want to feed your family quality meals. Enchilada express sauce is a good reason to cook today🌶️

Express enchilada sauce ingredients
3 Tbsp oil
1/2 cup guajillo Chile powder
4 cups of water
4oz of tomato sauce
*if you don’t want to use chicken bouillon for this recipe you may use 4 cups of chicken broth instead of water and chicken bouillon, remember to adjust salt to taste.

Smothered chicken ingredients
Oil
4 to 6 chicken breast
2 onions
3 cups of queso chihuahua (melty cheese such as mozzarella or Mexican cheese blend works great too)
Chicken seasoning: 1/2 Tbsp Mexican oregano, 1 tsp of black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder
