The “Descendants 2” premiere drew a total of 21 million viewers across 6 networks in 2017 and fans are eagerly waiting to hear more about “Descendants 3.” But did you know that the second movie could have been completely different? Disney decided to make some changes. We found deleted scenes and alternative endings that would definitely have affected both, “Descendants 2” and “Descendants 3”!

Do you remember “If Only” song from the first “Descendants”? If it was your favorite, you might want to sit down for this. After a cute moment between Mal and Jay, Mal starts singing the reprise to “If Only”! That’s right, Disney decided to delete “If Only”!

If you’ve been a fan of the franchise since the first movie, you probably follow Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair. Both have posted a promo picture ahead of the premiere, but they had no idea that it would go viral. In what looks like a behind the scenes picture, Harry and Gil are sharing a kiss, but the scene was completely deleted from “Descendants 2”!

Did you know that Disney also did several takes with different characters for the final line of the second movie? “You didn’t think this was the end of the story, did you?” belonged to Mal in the first movie, and Uma in the second. But deleted scenes show that Dizzy was also considered for this line, as was Harry!

Who’s your favorite character from “Descendants 2”? Make sure you watch our video if you want to know more about some of the deleted scenes, which include Mal singing “If Only,” Harry and Gil kissing, and deleted alternative endings.
