Using the previous generation of FMVSS 301 Standards, the FMVSS 301R is a Full-Overlap rear crash test at 30 Mph (48 Km/h) with 50th Percentile Male occupants used as ballast. There is no instrumentation in the occupants. The test cart weight 1800kg (3968 lbs). This FMVSS 301R Rear Crash Test was performed at TRC Ohio on 07/06/1987.

This is a test on the fuel system to ensure there is no fuel leakage in a rear-end collision.
Result: Pass - No Fuel Leak.
There is no test report on NHTSA's database, but judging by the footage, there was no leak recorded.
