In this video, I'm going to create a free website for my personal brand with ConvertKit. With ConvertKit you can create free one-page website / landing pages for your business and also send emails to up to 1,000 subscribers all with their free plan. This simple free website builder will allow you to get a website up on your domain in a matter of minutes. I will be building a full website with Squarespace in the coming weeks, but this was so quick and easy to build my website I wanted to get a website up at no cost so I could start growing my email list and have a basic website on my domain. To follow along with this ConvertKit tutorial video, you'll need a domain (we recommend buying domains from Namecheap) and a business email (we recommend that you set up your business email with G Suite). Once you have those 2 things you can follow along with this tutorial and build your free website and publish it on your domain. There are other free website builders such as Wix, but their free plans don't allow you to host the website on your domain and they place ads on your website. I won't leave this website up on my domain forever, but it's a great placeholder. After I build out my Squarespace website, I'll continue to use ConvertKit's free landing pages to collect email sign-ups for the various free guides and courses I'll be giving away. Overall, I'd recommend signing up with ConvertKit to use their free email marketing and if you need a basic one-page website, it can work for your homepage as well.
