Once, Druje Serge Markovich and I decided to find out which marinade is better? We knew that good meat can be cooked on the grill and without marinade at all, but what about the people?
And we took an excellent piece of meat, divided it into equal parts and marinated it with everything - wine, lemon, tomato, onion and even, God forgive me, kiwi. And the kebab won... marinated in kefir.
Do you know why? Not at all because kefir is the best marinade, no! The reason was completely different, but I will tell about it next time.
