This evening’s topic — “The Tablet of Destinies: a Sufi story”

There is a story about an ancient tablet, said to have come into existence with the creation of the universe. This tablet has the power to change the fate of anyone who possesses it, or so the story goes. It has been called “Kitab Al Qadar” by the Arabs; “the Emerald Tablet” by the Greeks. To Sumerians way back when, it was known as the “Dub Namtarra”— the Tablet of Destinies.

Many have searched for it, but only a few have found it. Each of those blessed to find it have since changed the world.
