Walt Disney is an American icon. No one can deny the huge impact he had on the animation industry and even in the world. Even though its been over 50 years since he passed away, I think it would be very hard to find someone who doesn’t know him, or at least his name.

In this video I want to explore his impact on animation and really try to trace the origins of the thought, is animation only for Children? Where does it stem from. I think a huge portion of it has to do with Walt Disney, but there are other factors I had to address in here. This is a little video that tries to narrow the scope of a huge question, so forgive the large tangents it may wonder off on, they’re important to leave no stone unturned.

A lot of documentaries released by Disney are very protective of Walt Disney’s legacy as a person, only a few hint at the man behind the camera, but were fascinating to watch and put the pieces of this big puzzle together.

I do hope you enjoy it! Apologies in how long this took to put together.
