Lt. General Malik (retd) talks about the sacrifice that the Indian soldiers make every single day so that their fellow countrymen can sleep with the absolute sense of security. He emphasizes how the military personnel; despite knowing that there are some people who deeply care about them and are waiting for their return; are round the clock prepared and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country. He highlights the sense of discipline and adventure that the army lifestyle offers to every Indian. It's a call for everyone to realize the virtue of the Defense services and be a part of the boldest family of our nation. He has served in the Indian Army for 38 years. He has held important command, instructional and staff assignments in peace & operational areas. He has vast operational experience in various terrains, ranging from deserts to high altitude areas and Counter Insurgency operations in Kashmir and the North East. He has also provided inputs for publishing Coffee Table book – ‘The Making of a Cavalier’.
