Historian Neil Oliver has welcomed a study into racial inequality in the UK that found no evidence of institutional racism in the country.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, he said: “There are racists in this country as there are racists in every country but to label a country as institutionally racist is completely wrong and it’s certainly not the case.”

The Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities - set up in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement - said that while impediments and disparities do exist, Britain is no longer a country where the “system is deliberately rigged against ethnic minorities”.
