Welcome back to Tackett Garage! This time we take on a Do it Yourself Paint job on the Bronco 2. Primmer to Mettalic Blue, What a difference! I chose to use a Single stage paint made by Summit Racing called Blue Metallic Part number SUM_UP320G. We sprayed that on with a Electric spray gun I found on Amazon Here is the Link https://www.amazon.com/YATTICH-Spraye...
It is the 700W Sprayer made by Yattich. We prepped the primer surface by sanding with 320 grit sand paper and cleaned it with a paint prep spray made by Duplicolor. As for the wet sanding I was all over the place, on the really bad spots I started with 800 grit and worked my way up to 1500 grit before polishing. We talked about the polish and buffers in our How to Buff video from a little while ago so check that one out for more info on that. Over all I am quite pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks for watching and join us next time when we finish putting everything back together. with a facelift for the front end!
