There is nothing worse than starting to feel a little bit comfortable in your new role as a manager, only to have one of your team members go behind your back and try to undermine you. Some examples of undermining behaviour look like:

- Team members going around or above you
- They gossip about you
- They unfairly place the blame on you
- They’re unnecessarily competitive
- They withhold information from you to make you look bad

Being undermined at work is so frustrating to deal with because it’s not productive, can disrupt channels of communication, and honestly, straight up makes you feel like a bad leader.

In this video I’ll be sharing 5 tips on how to get through this difficult situation of being undermined at work by staff.
