In the “Konungs skuggsjá”, the were called “sea fences” three massive waves spotted on the horizon. It is unclear whether it was an actual phenomenon or only an optical effect. The hafgufa, like the kraken, is a sea monster from Norse mythology. Its name is composed of the words “haf” (“sea”) and “gufa” (“steam”).
The one line not transcribed into futhark is in Swedish, for which a transliteration into runes wouldn’t make any sense. That line wasn’t pronounced brilliantly, I must say.

I know a transcription in runes of such a text doesn’t really have any reason to be, if not as a treat, but yeah…that’s just what it is, bear with me.

Any suggestion and/or observation is warmly welcome.
