Honoring Dr. Nikole Roebuck, who is continuing her efforts to provide the next generation of musicians with world-class mentorship and leadership as the first woman band director of Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching Band.

Grambling State University has been a part of Dr. Roebuck’s life since she was a young girl. From spending time with her uncle, the assistant band director, Dr. Joseph Miller, to marching in and now leading the World Famed Tiger Marching Band, Dr. Roebuck is passionate about providing a space for the next generation to grow to become world-class musicians on and off the field.

With the help of Grambling State University World Famed Tiger Marching Band and the Grambling State University Foundation, Dr. Roebuck is focused on continuing her efforts to show her students and band members how to create with purpose through music, mentorship, and leadership with HBE.
