Maleficent is the evil fairy we all love to hate from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty.” But what if there is more to her than we thought from that first movie? It turns out she’s got a complicated past. When you learn about everything she’s been through, suddenly her behavior doesn’t seem that evil. She started out as a young fairy with a big heart. So what happened to make her heart shrivel up? That’s what we are going to explore with this video.

When you get the whole story about Maleficent, it’s actually pretty sad. Her biggest crime was loving a selfish boy who didn’t love her back. He betrayed her, which set off a chain of events that lead to tragedy, loss, and ultimately redemption.
