How do you know if Calories need to be adjusted for fat loss? The Plateau is the phase when you have been losing fat but the diet, cardio and approach don't seem to be yielding results any longer. How long should you wait to determine if you are in fact stuck?

The phenomenon is known as adaptation. Our body adapts to a reduction in calories. Part of the is through the loss of body fat and over time you reach homeostasis, or a place where the body will no longer lose fat because you are now at your new maintenance position.

I look for a few things when deciding to adjust the plan.
1. Pictures, same place, same time.
2. Scale Weight.
3. Measurements
4. Personal Feedback (I see new details, i feel a drop coming)

Using this information as a coach is critical, and then we can decide how long to wait to adjust based on the goals. WHat is the purpose of fat loss, is there a deadline?
